Hyderabad, December 14: In a shocking incident, a doctor allegedly poisoned himself to death at SR Nagar in Hyderabad on Friday. According to report, the 29-year-old cardiologist, identified as K Raj Kumar, allegedly died by suicide by injecting himself a poison through IV drip. Kumar was reportedly found lying unconscious with the IV drip connected to his arm and was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed during the treatment. According to a report by the Times Of India, Kumar had spoke to a friend regrading not being mentally well over a call and then disconnected it. When his friend tried to reach him again but his calls went unanswered. Following which, he alerted a colleague of the deceased, who then rushed to Kumar's place. Kumar was rushed to the hospital where he died during the treatment. “Raj was found lying unconscious with an intravenous drip connected to his arm. He was immediately rushed to hospital, where he succumbed while undergoing treatment. Family members did not give any specific reasons for the suicide. We suspect that some personal problems could be the reason,” SR Nagar Inspector K Saidulu was quoted as saying by the TOI report. Meanwhile, a case has been under Section 174 of the CrPC on the complaint of the deceased's father.
