The viral footage purportedly shows a male constable sitting at a computer in the police station's control room when a female constable approaches him from behind, wraps her arms around his shoulders and allegedly kisses him. The male constable is seen getting up from his chair and appearing to distance himself, while the female constable continues to follow him. Both were reportedly dressed in civilian clothes. Constable Suspended, Probe Ordered
Jalaun Police said it took cognisance of the viral video and suspended Constable Arvind Patel with immediate effect. A departmental inquiry has also been ordered.
CCTV Shows Female Constable Hugging, Allegedly Kissing Colleague

"It is to inform in relation to the case that, upon taking cognisance of the video, Constable Arvind has been suspended with immediate effect, and the City Sub-Divisional Officer has been directed to investigate the entire matter. Action as per rules will be taken upon completion of the investigation," Jalaun Police posted on X. What Is Known So Far
According to reports, Arvind Patel, a resident of Prayagraj and a 2018-batch constable, was posted as a clerk at the Orai police station. He was reportedly on night duty on Wednesday and working on a computer in the control room when the incident allegedly took place.
A report by Dainik Bhaskar claimed that a female trainee constable entered the control room, hugged Patel from behind while he was seated and allegedly kissed him.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, and further action will be taken based on the findings of the departmental probe.
