A five-year-old boy died after choking on a plastic toy ball that was found inside a Kurkure packet in Karnataka's Mysuru district, police said. The incident took place in Gauripura village, where the child is believed to have swallowed the complimentary plastic ball while playing with it. According to police sources, the ball became lodged in his throat, causing him to suffocate before family members could intervene in time.

Family members rushed the child for medical assistance as soon as they noticed he was choking, but doctors could not save him. The incident has left the family and residents of the village in mourning, with locals describing the boy as the only child of his parents. Plastic Ball Came As Complimentary Item With Snack Packet

No Complaint Filed, No Case Registered So Far
