A tragic incident occurred in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra when a 4-year-old boy died after falling into an open manhole. As reported by NDTV, Samar Sheikh was playing near his home in Mukund Nagad last evening when he accidentally stepped on a loosely installed manhole lid. Nearby CCTV footage captured the moment he fell into the open manhole. When Samar Sheikh didn't return home, his family searched the alley where he had been playing. Unable to locate him, they reviewed CCTV footage, which revealed Samar falling into the manhole. Tragically, he was found dead by the time rescuers retrieved him.
