Mumbai, October 18: A fire broke out in a building in Mumbai on Thursday morning. As per reports, the fire broke out in Gujral House building at CST road in Kalina in Santacruz East. Firefighting operations went on for over two hours to douse the Level 2 fire before it was brought under control. A police team also reached the spot. Gujral House is a commercial building in Mumbai's Kalina area. The area is close to Mumbai University. According to reports, rescue operations were carried out at the building. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

There have been multiple incidents of fire in Mumbai over the past few months. Earlier this year, a major fire in South Mumbai's Crystal Tower had left four people dead.
