Mumbai, December 18: A top-ranked International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Mumbai suspended eight students aged 13 and 14 for using sexually explicit and violent language on their female classmates in Whatsapp conversation. The incident came to light when parents of two girls saw the content and reported it to the school, Mumbai Mirror reported. According to the report, the chat transcription runs over a hundred pages and includes derogatory words like "gang bang" and "rape". In the chats, the eight students have also mocked their classmates and referred them as lesbians and gays.

Throughout their group chat, the boys termed girls as "trash" and used violent language. In one of the conversations, a boy, referring to a female classmate, said, "Then one night we just go and bang her.” The word "rape" has also been used multiple times in the conversation, Mumbai Mirror reported.

The chats have been leaked outside the school after one of the parents posted it in a parents' group. After the matter came to light, some of the girls had refused to go to schools. The school, when asked about the incident, declined to comment.
