Nashik Jewellery Shop Workers Fight Off Armed Robbers at Gunpoint, Force Them To Flee; Video Goes Viral

In a dramatic incident that has set social media abuzz, a group of armed masked robbers attempted to loot a jewellery shop in Maharashtra's Nashik district on Friday night, only to be fought off by two fearless employees who refused to back down despite being outnumbered and threatened at gunpoint. The entire nerve-wracking encounter was captured on CCTV, and the footage is now going massively viral.

How the Robbery Attempt Unfolded

Four masked men stormed into New Samruddhi Jewellers in Nashik's Hirawadi area at around 9 pm, brandishing pistols and attempting to loot the premises. The robbers had taken extensive precautions to hide their identities, wearing caps, face masks, and in one case a helmet, before entering the shop where three employees were present.

CCTV footage shows one of the robbers pulling out a gun and pointing it directly at the staff. While one employee attempted to take cover, the other two chose to stand their ground and fight back, launching a fierce physical struggle against the armed intruders.

Employees Fight Back, Robbers Forced to Flee

Working in tandem, the two brave employees engaged the robbers in a physical confrontation and ultimately succeeded in forcing all four to flee the shop empty-handed. However, the victory came at a cost. During the intense struggle, the robbers repeatedly struck one employee on the head with the butt of a pistol, leaving him with severe injuries. The injured employee has been admitted to the District Government Hospital for treatment.

Police Launch Hunt for Accused

Upon receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the scene, reviewed the CCTV footage, and immediately dispatched multiple teams to track down and arrest the accused. Investigation is currently underway.
