Mumbai, April 23: A sixth survivor has come forward in the ongoing investigation into alleged s*xual harassment and forced religious conversion at a TCS-linked BPO facility in Nashik. The new complainant, a senior employee with 11 years of experience at the firm, has accused top management of failing to address long-standing grievances while detailing a pattern of predatory behavior by senior staff members. She also alleged that one of the accused person kept staring at her chest during office meeting.
According to India Today, the survivor, a team leader who currently supervises 27 associates, recalled a distressing incident from 2022 involving one of the accused, Shafi Shaikh. How 6 Women Cops Went Undercover To Crack Nashik TCS Case.
During an afternoon meeting in 2022, the survivor alleged that Shaikh’s behavior was predatory and unprofessional. "In 2022, while I was seated during an afternoon meeting, Shafi Shaikh was standing approximately three feet away from me. I realised he was staring fixedly at my chest and smiling in a manner I found inappropriate. Unable to tolerate his gaze, I got up and left the room," she recounted.
She further alleged that a group of accused individuals - identified as Tausif Attar, Danish Shaikh, Raza Memon, Shafi Shaikh, Shahrukh Qureshi and Asif Ansari - operated collectively within the facility, routinely targeting colleagues from other religious communities.
Insensitive Remarks and Alleged Coercion
The survivor also detailed a separate encounter in February 2026 with accused Tausif Attar. After she informed him of her poor health following a recent miscarriage, she alleged he made deeply intrusive and insensitive comments regarding her personal life.
"During a lunch break in February 2026, Tausif Attar, who works in the Dialer Team at our office, approached me and asked about my health. I told him I was unwell as I had recently suffered a miscarriage. I noticed he was staring at me in a strange manner," the survivor stated.
She alleged that Attar then suggested she visit a cleric in Ajmer for "blessings" to conceive a child. "I will give you the number of a Maulvi in Ajmer. I guarantee that if you go there and return, you will be blessed with a child; you should visit," he allegedly said. She described these comments as humiliating and noted that despite her clear discomfort, he repeatedly brought up the subject.
TCS Failed To Act on Complaints?
The complainant emphasized that she and numerous other female staff members had lodged verbal complaints with senior management over several years. She alleged that these complaints were largely ignored, with accused employees merely being transferred between departments rather than facing disciplinary action.
This complaint brings the total number of FIRs filed in connection with the facility to nine.
