Noida: Newlywed Woman Accuses Husband of Assault, Attempt To Kill During Honeymoon
A newlywed woman in Noida has accused her husband of assaulting her from the day after their wedding and pushing her down a hotel staircase during their honeymoon in Sikkim and Darjeeling. A newlywed woman in Noida has approached the police, alleging that her husband pushed her down a hotel staircase, assaulted her and threatened to kill her during their honeymoon. According to her complaint, the alleged abuse began the day after their wedding and continued throughout their trip to Sikkim and Darjeeling.
Police have registered a case against the accused husband following the woman's complaint and have launched an investigation into the allegations. Woman Alleges Abuse Began Day After Wedding
According to the complaint, the couple got married on April 30. The woman alleged that her husband began abusing and physically assaulting her from the very next day after the wedding.

Alleged Assault at Hotel During Honeymoon
The woman told police that on May 9, while the couple was staying at a hotel during the honeymoon, her husband allegedly pushed her down a flight of stairs.
She claimed the fall caused serious injuries to her knees, head and back. The woman also alleged that her husband threatened to kill her during the incident.
Complaint Filed After Returning to Noida
According to the complaint, after returning to Noida, she informed her husband that she intended to approach the police. She alleged that he assaulted and threatened her once again before leaving the house.
Following the alleged incident, the woman underwent a medico-legal examination (MLC) and subsequently lodged a complaint at Sector-113 Police Station.
Based on the complaint, police have registered a case against the accused husband. Officials said the allegations are being investigated, and further action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
