"It was the negligence of the father that led to this tragic event. He should have ensured that his minor son was not riding the bike," stated an investigating officer.

The father, who is engaged in the shoe-making business, is now facing charges for his oversight. The minor has been sent to a remand home following the incident.

This tragedy comes just days after a fatal accident in Pune involving a Porsche car that left two dead, highlighting the increasing need for stringent enforcement of road safety regulations.
