Jaipur, July 2:  In another incident of misuse of power that surfaced from Rajasthan, Banswara BJP MLA Dhan Singh Rawat on Monday came to his son's rescue and said the matter is related to children and people should not make mountain out of a molehill. For the unversed, the BJP lawmaker's son had brutally thrashed a man on a busy road after he allegedly did not let his vehicle pass by.

"It is a matter related to children. We should not get involved in their matter. If there was a scuffle, it was wrong but we should not make mountain out of a molehill", Rawat said on his son Raja thrashing a man for not letting his car overtake.

On Sunday, Rawat 's son allegedly thrashed a driver for not allowing him to pass through.  Rajasthan’s Banswara Rawat 's son named Raja, blocked the way of Maruti Suzuki Swift and then thrashed the driver in Banswara’s Vidyut colony. Two men who follow Raja to the vehicle are also seen punching the man.

A close look at the CCTV footage show that Raja overtook the swift and blocked its way. He then came out of his car, dragged the driver out of the car and started slapping him.

Reports by ANI inform that Raja attacked the driver because the driver did not allow Raja’s car to pass through. In wake of the incident, the traffic was disrupted due to the violence.

Neerav Upadhyay, the victim was quoted by ANI saying, "I was going in my car on a one-way road. They didn't get side to overtake. We just had an argument. I don't want to file any case. They were seven-eight people".  It must be noted that no police case has been filed against the lawmaker's son. Sub Inspector Chandan Singh informed that the Police has nothing to do whether the person is a political leader's son or not and have not received any case yet.
