Barmer, June 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over Rajasthan tragedy in which 14 people lost their lives after a pandaal collapsed in Barmer earlier in the day. PM Modi termed the incident as unfortunate. He tweeted, “Collapse of a ‘Pandaal’ in Rajasthan’s Barmer is unfortunate. At least 14 people were killed and 50 others were injured after the pandaal collapsed in Barmer. Injured persons were admitted to a hospital. The incident took place in Jasaul area. Rescue operations are underway. According to reports, the locals were assembled to listen to Ram Katha when the tragic incident took place.
