Barmer, June 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over Rajasthan tragedy in which 14 people lost their lives after a pandaal collapsed in Barmer earlier in the day. Former CM of the state Vasundhara Raje expressed grief on the deaths. She also appealed to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to help the injured and their family members.

At least 14 people were killed and 50 others were injured after the pandaal collapsed in Barmer. Injured persons were admitted to a hospital. The incident took place in Jasaul area. Rescue operations are underway. According to reports, the locals were assembled to listen to Ram Katha when the tragic incident took place.
