Rohit Sharma, the founder of the tea café chain 'Chaiwalaz', was found dead at his residence in Rajasthan's Dausa on Saturday, August 1, police said. The 30-year-old entrepreneur was found hanging at his home, and officials said the circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation. The exact reason behind the alleged suicide has not yet been established.

According to Kotwali police station officials, Sharma's family members broke open the door after finding it locked from inside. They brought him down and rushed him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Police said the incident occurred on Saturday afternoon at Sharma's residence in Saket Colony, Dausa. Officials stated that no conclusion has yet been reached regarding the reason behind the alleged suicide, and the investigation is continuing.

Sharma began his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 17 while pursuing nursing studies. He founded the 'Chaiwalaz' brand in Jaipur, opening his first tea café at Shipra Path in Mansarovar. According to reports, Sharma shut down all his 'Chaiwalaz' outlets around six months ago. Following the closure of the business, he reportedly turned towards spirituality and was seen visiting several religious places.

Sharma is survived by his wife, a teacher at a private school, and their seven-year-old son. His father, Hitendra Mohan Sharma, runs a medical store in Dausa.

Apart from his business ventures, Sharma was also associated with social service activities in his hometown. Police said further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances leading to his death.
