The incident occurred at Hasnain Public School in Madala village while celebrations were underway, India Today reported.

According to initial reports, the concrete structure at the school’s main gate suddenly gave way as several children were reportedly on or around the canopy to get a better view of the Independence Day programme. Three children were caught beneath the debris. One child, who had come to attend the event, died at the spot. Two school students sustained injuries in the collapse. The incident caused panic on the school premises as people rushed to help those trapped under the fallen structure.
Officials Reach the Spot
Following the collapse, senior district officials reached the school to oversee the response. The District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Circle Officer and Tehsildar were among those who visited the site. Officials from the Education Department also joined the assessment and rescue efforts. The injured students were taken for medical treatment. Authorities are assessing the condition of the structure and gathering information about the circumstances leading to the collapse.
