Gurugram, February 5: A shocking incident has come to light from Gurugram’s DLF Phase 3 area, where a group of men allegedly took four minor children hostage and subjected them to extreme physical abuse inside a paying guest (PG) facility. Police said the children were brutally thrashed after being confined in a room, allegedly stripped, and tortured.

According to a report by Press Trust of India (PTI), the minors were released only after their mothers reached the spot and repeatedly pleaded with the accused to let them go. A formal complaint was later filed, leading to the registration of an FIR and the arrest of two men, while efforts are underway to trace the remaining accused. Mainpuri Shocker: Student Attacks Teacher and Bites Her Lips in Uttar Pradesh, Disturbing Video Surfaces.

The arrested men reportedly told police that they detained the children after suspecting them of planning to steal from a nearby under-construction building. However, police said the punishment meted out to the children was “grossly disproportionate” and criminal in nature. Uttar Pradesh Shocker: Man Molests Woman, Assaults Her Brother Inside Marudhar Express; Flees From Police Custody (Watch Video).

As per the complaint, the incident occurred on Monday when one of the mothers returned home from work to find her 12-year-old son missing. During her search, she met another woman whose two children were also untraceable. Together, they began looking for the minors.

“While looking for kids, we got information that at a PG, some persons had locked about three to four children in a room and beaten them,” the complainant stated, as quoted by PTI.

On reaching the PG facility, the women allegedly found their children and another minor being held captive by five to six men. Despite facing verbal abuse, the mothers continued pleading until the accused eventually released the children.

Police said the children were medically examined after their rescue. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Juvenile Justice Act. Further investigation is ongoing, and authorities have assured strict action against all those involved.
