Tamil Nadu: Class 10 Student Commits Suicide Over Alleged Harassment by School Teacher For Taking Tuition Classes From Other Teacher

Tamil Nadu, December 4: In a shocking incident, a class 10th student committed suicide allegedly over continuous harassment by his school teacher. According to an ANI update, the harassment started after the student started taking tuition classes from a different teacher, in Usilampatti. Police have registered a case and the accused teacher is absconding.

In another similar incident, a 19-year-old student recently committed suicide by hanging herself at her college hostel in Tamil Nadu's Chennai. The student was found by her friend hanging inside the hostel room. The news of the death of IIT chennai student grabbed headlines after she committed suicide in her hostel room on November 8. While some reports said that she was depressed because of her poor performance in class,  but her parents have alleged that she has blamed one of her teachers behind her death.
