Body Found After Hotel Staff Alerted Police
According to police, hotel staff informed authorities after the guest failed to respond to repeated knocks on his room door for several days. Officers entered the room through a window and found him dead. Police Say Helium Gas Was Used
Investigators said the man had purchased a helium gas cylinder and related equipment from Hyderabad's Balanagar area before travelling to Siddipet. Police alleged that he used a mask to inhale the helium gas inside the hotel room. The cylinder and other materials were recovered from the scene as part of the investigation.
Note Points to Gambling-Related Financial Losses
Police said a purported suicide note recovered from the room stated that the chartered accountant had incurred substantial losses through gambling. According to the preliminary investigation, he had developed a gambling addiction that resulted in severe financial difficulties. Investigators said his relatives had extended financial assistance on multiple occasions, and he had also sold his flat in Hyderabad in an effort to recover from the losses.
