Mumbai, July 12: Nearly 330 passengers had a narrow escape after two Indigo flights came face to face and a mid- air collision tragedy averted over Bangalore airspace. News agency ANI reported that mid-air collision between two IndiGo aircrafts was averted over Bengaluru airspace on 10th July, Tuesday.

IndiGo Airlines has given its reply on the matter saying that, "The TCAS-Resolution Advisory system was triggered on two of our aircraft operating Coimbatore-Hyderabad and Bangalore-Cochin routes respectively on July 10. Following normal procedure this has been reported to the regulator." Check out the tweet by ANI:

A Budget carrier Indigo Airlines' Raipur-bound plane carrying 112 passengers had returned to Hyderabad soon after take-off due to a "technical glitch", in the month of March according to an announcement by the company.
