Rapido Responds To S*xual Harassment Allegation
Rapido initially responded to the teenager's Instagram post, saying it was taking the allegation seriously and that such behaviour was unacceptable.
The company asked him to share the ride ID and registered mobile number through direct message so that the matter could be investigated and appropriate action taken. Rapido Responds
Following the company's response, the teenager said Rapido had taken action against the driver and permanently barred him from the platform.
'We're genuinely sorry for the experience you've had,' the company said in its response. Rapido added that behaviour compromising a customer's safety or respect was 'simply not acceptable' and said the reported captain had been permanently barred.

After the company took action, the teenager thanked Rapido through an Instagram Story.
