New Delhi, June 1: In view of Civil Services examinations on Sunday, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Saturday said that all train services on June 2 will begin at 6 am on all lines, including the Phase-3 extensions. The services in Phase-3 extension, which usually begins at 8 am on Sundays, will start at 6 am on all lines. Lakhs of students are scheduled to appear for UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) preliminary examination that would be held in two intervals. Only 1-2 per cent aspirants who register to the exam qualify for the final selection based on preliminary exam, main exam and interview. UPSC Appoints Nine Private Sector Specialists as Joint Secretaries in Government Departments.

On April 30, the UPSC had released the admit card for the prelims. "The candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-admit card at the allotted venue for appearing at the examination. The candidates are also required to carry along the (original) photo ID card, whose number is mentioned in the e-admit card, for appearing at each session of the examination," it said.

"The candidates, whose photograph is not clear/visible in the e-admit card or his/her signature appears in place of the photograph, are required to carry with them two photographs (one for each session). They would be allowed to appear at the examination along with photo ID card, after giving an undertaking," it added.

On regular days, services for sections including Jahangirpuri-Samaypur Badli, Dilshad Garden-Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda), Mundka- Brigadier Hoshiyar Singh, Noida City Centre-Noida Electronic City, Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden begin at 8 am.

On the rest of the sections, services begin usually at 6 am. These include Yellow Line from Samaypur Badli to Huda City Centre, Blue Line from Dwarka to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali, and Red Line from Dilshad Garden to Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda).
