Patna, June 27: In a shocking case of dacoity, goons looted passengers onboard the Patna-Hatia Patliputra Express as the train was made to stop, when a group of 20-25 dacoits, with firearms, and weapons attacked the passengers onboard. According to a Times Now report, they snatched gold ornaments and cash from the passengers in S1 coach.
The incident took place in Bihar's Jamui station, and the train was heading towards Howrah station in Kolkata. One of the passengers was left seriously injured in the attack. It was for more than half an hour that dacoits held the passengers' hostage, they threatened them to be quiet and not make any noise; otherwise they would get killed.
Reportedly, due to the sudden incident, the passengers were left shocked. An investigation in the matter has been initiated. Further details are awaited.
