New Delhi, October 14: In a dramatic turn of events, former Indian team capital Sourav Ganguly was elected as the consensus candidate to be the next BCCI President. Union Home Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah's son Jay Shah will be the new secretary while Arun Singh Dhumal will be the new treasurer. Jaydev Shah, who is the son of former BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah, was elected as president of Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) last month.
