Amaravati, June 19: A legislator of the rulingĀ YSR Congress Party or YSRCP on Tuesday said that former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu will have to move out his residence inĀ Undavalli. The statement of Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, YSRCP MLA fromĀ Mangalagiri, assumes significance as he set to take overĀ as chairman of AP State Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA).

Ramakrishna Reddy, who defeatedĀ Naiduā€™s son and political heir Nara Lokesh in recent assembly elections, said the TDP chief's house is illegal as it was constructed on a riverbed. The legislator said the state government will use every legal option available to evict Naidu from the building which is owned by an industrialist. "The house where Naidu is residing is definitely an illegal construction and our legal fight against all illegal constructions will continue till they are vacated and demolished. We will make Naidu vacate the illegal construction through a legal process,"Ā Ramakrishna Reddy was quoted by TOI as saying. Naidu has been staying in the building for the last four year since the state administration shifted to Vijayawada from Hyderabad.

The statement comes a few days after Naidu wrote to Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government seeking permissionĀ to use Praja Vedika, an extension to his residential building, for the official purpose to meet party workers. Reacting toĀ Ramakrishna Reddy's comments,Ā TDP MLA Payyavula KeshavĀ said YSRC is resorting to vindictive politics. "On one hand, the chief minister says they will not do any vindictive politics but their MLAs come up with statements like this," he said, adding that the matter is in court and the TDP will respect the judgment.
