New Delhi, March 10: Shortly after the Election Commission released the schedule for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019, a fresh opinion was released which predicted the BJP to be ousted in the politically crucial state of Uttar Pradesh. The alliance led by Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party (SP-BSP), which also includes the Rashtriya Lok Dal, is predicted to win 47 out of the 80 parliamentary constituencies. Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Schedule: Voting In 7 Phases From April 11 to May 19, Counting And Results On May 23.

The BJP is predicted to emerge second, winning 29 seats, whereas, the UPA-led by Congress is expected to be restricted to 4 constituencies. In terms of vote share, the SP-BSP alliance could secure upto 43 per cent votes, whereas, the BJP is predicted to retain an electoral share of 41 per cent. The UPA is predicted to be voted by 10 per cent of UP's electorate.

The survey, meanwhile, predicts a clean sweep for the BJP-led NDA in neighbouring Bihar. With Nitish Kumar back into its fold, the saffron alliance is stated to win 36 of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

In Delhi, the BJP is predicted to win all 7 seats. In Madhya Pradesh, the party is expected to retain 25 of the 29 constituencies. In Chhattisgarh, 6 out of the 11 seats are likely to go in PM Modi's favour.
