Delhi, May 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from East Delhi Gautam Gambhir on Thursday sent defamation notice to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) political rival Atishi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. This comes after the AAP has accused that Gautam Gambhir was distributing "derogatory notes" against Atishi, which the cricketer has denied. Atishi Breaks Down, AAP Blames Gautam Gambhir For Distributing 'Derogatory Notes' Against Her.

During a press conference, Atishi broke down by saying that she never expected Gambhir taking the poll battle to an unprecedented low. Sisodia demanded the Election Commission of India (ECI) to take strict action against Gambhir, saying that "he has not only launched an offensive against Atishi, but all women residing in Delhi". Gautam Gambhir Denies Circulating Offensive Pamphlet Against Atishi, Challenges Arvind Kejriwal And AAP to Prove His Role.
