The sitting TMC parliamentarian is one of the most popular candidates in the constituency and is ahead of the nearest candidate - BJP's Chandra Kumar Bose - by over 4 lakh votes. She has garnered the support of 59.69 supporters, while Bose is trailing with 308270 votes. As per the trends of the results, shared by the Election Commission, TMC is leading in 24 constituencies, BJP in 17 and Congress in 1. Left Front is yet to open its account in the number tally.
