Surat, October 22: Anil Yadav, who has been accused of sexually assaulting, raping and murdering a three-year-old girl on October 14, was addicted to watching porn videos on his mobile phone. According to a Times of India report, the man when he was being questioned by the police as to why he committed the heinous crime, he revealed his addiction to watching porn. During the police investigation, it was also found out that the accused was also drunk. The police officer quoted in the report said that so far the accused has not admitted to any of the sexual assaults, but the investigation is going on. Police arrested the accused from the village four days after the crime.

In a similar horrific incident from West Bengal, a tribal woman was allegedly raped by her relative, and an iron rod was inserted in her private parts at Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. According to a PTI report, the nephew of the woman's husband and another individual is detained for their alleged involvement in the case
