Deepika Padukone is an epitome of beauty and she did look like the most beautiful bride on her D-day. Dressed in her Kanjeevaram sarees and Sabyasachi designed bridal trousseau, DP looked radiant in her different wedding ceremonies and we were simply besotted by her charm. While her wedding trousseau was a dream come true for any bride, we wonder if she was hesitant to experiment with her personal styling. Yes, no one justifies a saree better than this reel life queen yet we expected her to go a notch higher. While her wedding looks were simple and elegant, her reception one looked inspired by her previous one from the past. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's Bengaluru Reception Was as Intimate as The Couple Wanted it To Be - See Inside Pics.

If you grew up in Bengal at the time I was growing up, sometime between late seventies and early eighties, you would know that the consumer was the designer. I spent hours watching my mother and her friends stretching organdy sarees over hand frames and hand painting exotic blooms on them. More often than not, they would match the blooms in their sarees to the real blooms on their hair. Talk about style! This is my homage to them. My mother and all her Bengal art school friends. What they lacked in terms of resources, they always over compensated with imagination. That is the true art of dressing well and good housekeeping! #Sabyasachi #TheWorldOfSabyasachi #TheSabyasachiArtFoundation #DeepikaPadukone #AsianPaints #Nilaya #SabyasaschixAsianPaints #SabyasachiForNilaya @worldofnilaya @asianpaints @deepikapadukone

The moment DeepVeer entered their grand reception venue at the Leela Palace in Bengaluru, we were awestruck with their royal sight. But hey, her look reminded us of Sabyasachi's collaboration with Asian Paints. It was in February this year when the ace designer collaborated with the paints for their special edition and the actress was asked to endorse it. The styling of hers from that same ad campaign was very similar to her look from last evening. With a similar golden saree paired with a white blouse, green emerald choker necklace, red lips, bindi and hair tied in a classic bun, it was hard to overlook or ignore these striking similarities. Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh's Bengaluru Reception: A South Indian's Paradise With Coconut Water And Curd Rice - Read Details!

Of course, she dazzled on her special day and the pair together was a sight for sore eyes but we have some qualms with her repetitive styling. Deepika is a born stunner and there's rarely any occasion where she fails to woo us with her #OOTD or #OOTN. However, we certainly want her to try and experiment with different colours if not the silhouette. She can stick to her rich Kanjeevaram sarees but she can always give it a twist or add some colour to her numerous ethereal picks.
