Mumbai, May 7: On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 10 grams of 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 31,606, which is 0.14 percent higher than yesterday. Meanwhile, on Monday, 10 gram of 22 carat gold was sold at Rs 30,750 in Mumbai. However, prices of 10 grams of 24 carat of gold remained same on Akshaya Tritiya. Today, 10 gram of 24 carat gold is being traded at Rs 31,900 in Mumbai. Gold prices on Monday rose by Rs 75 to Rs 32,720 per 10 gram at the bullion market in Delhi due to fresh buying from jewellers amid firm trend overseas, according to the All India Sarafa Association.
