The morning proceedings were marked by the recitation of the Eid takbeerat, the spiritual chants echoing through the neighborhoods. This year, the recitations were led in part by the "Muezzin Al Fareej" initiative, a community-focused program that features young local callers to prayer leading the chants to preserve cultural and spiritual heritage. Following the sermon, worshippers exchanged traditional greetings of "Eid Mubarak." Authorities reported that integrated citywide operational plans ensured smooth traffic flow and safe access to all high-capacity venues, including the major grounds at Nad Al Hamar, Al Warqa, and the Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Mosque in Zabeel. With the conclusion of the morning namaz, families shifted their focus to the ritual sacrifice (Udhiya), animal welfare compliance, and charity distribution. Local municipality officials and police departments issued reminders urging residents to utilize only registered slaughterhouses and approved digital services to ensure public hygiene and safety during the three-day holiday. The celebrations coincide with a major public holiday across the United Arab Emirates. Government and private sector entities in Dubai are observing an extended break, with regular business operations scheduled to resume on Monday, June 1.
