In different cities in India, the Iftar and Sehri is observed at different time. On June 10, in Mumbai, the Sehri ends at 4:52 am and Iftar at 7:16 pm. In Kolkata, Sehri will end at 3:41 am and Iftar begins at 6:21 pm. While in Delhi, Sehri ends at 4:06 am and Iftar will be observed at 7:18 pm. Fasting is considered to be one of the five key pillars of the Islamic faith. The other remains, prayer (salat), giving a percentage of your salary to charity (zakat), making the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca and a belief in the Muslim faith (shahadah). During the month of Ramazan 2018, people refrains from food, drink, smoking and intercourse from sunrise to sunset.
