December is the month of throwbacks. The good, the bad, the ugly; as we look at how things went the past year, one feeling that surfaces this year with an unmatchable intensity is gratitude. After surviving a deadly pandemic, we are all here, coping with the aftermath and trying to make the best out of what we have. At a time like this, gratitude is a reminder of celebrating what we have.
Celebrating gratitude this December, Indian stand-up comedian, leadership coach, and author, Papa CJ is bringing cheer and joy by sharing his heart-warming stories of gratitude on social media platforms. With #GratefulHeart, the Indian comedian is on a journey to bring excerpts of his life that bring him the feeling of immense gratitude.
The initiative or as he calls it, the #GratefulHeart challenge began on December 1, where every day till December 31, he would post one thing he was extremely grateful about. Whether it was a simple meal he was extremely delighted to savour or surviving a motorcycle accident in 2019, Papa CJ has been determined to come back every day throughout December with gratitude.
Inviting others to do the same, he wrote, “I’d like to invite you to join me in this endeavour and comment on my post with either what you’re grateful for that day, or a link to your own gratitude post. You don’t have to do it every day. Just whenever you like. And if you want to do it daily and miss a day, no worries on that either!”
Posted across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, his posts have already pushed thousands toward feeling grateful for the smallest of things in their lives. These not-so-small stories have helped them cherish the last days of 2022 with gratitude and joy.
Here Are Some of the #GratefulHeart Stories So Far:
“This is genuinely inspiring, unlike the numerous posts one sees on LinkedIn by people who seem completely oblivious to their privilege. Thanks for writing it,” wrote a LinkedIn user highlighting that it is our challenging moments that propel us toward being grateful for what we have.
You too can join the #GratefulHeart challenge and share your small and big moments of joy, gratitude, and happiness with the world. If you are looking to tell your #GratefulHeart story, don’t forget to tag @papacj and use the hashtag #GratefulHeart.
