France on Sunday won FIFA 2018 World Cup by defeating Croatia 4-2 in the final bringing the football fever to a temporary halt. While the country lifted the up after a 20-year-long wait and deserves applause, the fan following and love for teams like Brazil and Argentina is just irreplaceable. Kerala in the recent past has seen a tremendous increase in football lovers and the recent game resonated with them. Adding to the football culture in the South Indian state was some Malayalam movies portraying the football spirit in the right sense.

Although France won the World Cup at the Luzhniki Stadium, Croatia won hearts across the world. And Brazil continues to be among the most loved football teams globally. So when someone shames your team for their loss, you definitely cannot take it. A little fan could not hold back tears when someone tried to make fun of his favourite team, Brazil (clearly to irritate the child). The boy can be seen telling how nobody should make fun of Brazil for losing the game.

With a lump in his throat, he shouts at the person (voice can be heard in the video) who tells tries to poke fun jokingly that Brazil lost. The little Brazil fan almost threatens the man saying he should not utter a word more against his team.

Watch the video here:

The conversation goes something like this:

The boy, "Don't you dare say anything about Brazil."

The man replies, "But they lost, didn't you make fun of Argentina when they lost?"

The boy says, "I made fun of Anthony and never said a word against Argentina."

The man replies, "So you made fun of them."

To which the boy says, "Yes, I did, but now you need not make fun of Brazil." He goes on to say Brazil is his team and anything said against the team is also against him. So he asks the man to better shut up. The true fan fighting for his team has resonated with Brazil fans in Kerala. The video has gone viral social media platforms with football teams saying that they share similar views as the child.
