A Frontier Airlines flight going to Tampa from Las Vegas had to return to a technical issue. The plane was forced to go back to McCarran International Airport on Friday after the engine cover, known as cowling, broke. It separated from the Airbus shortly departure giving passengers the worst nightmare. The plane immediately returned and managed to reach the airport safely. After landing, passengers were given a free breakfast voucher.

WGN-TV anchor Dance Ponce took to Twitter sharing picture of worn off engine mid-air. He tweeted saying, "WHOA! My aunt snapped this pic of a shredded engine on Frontier flight 260 from Vegas to Tampa. The plane was able to turn around and land. She says all passengers got a free breakfast voucher." Air India Mid-Air Scare! Amritsar-Delhi Flight’s Window Panel Comes Off, Passengers Terrified: Watch Video.

However, Twitter wasn't impressed by how the airlines gave free breakfast to passengers following trying to compensate for an experience as scary as that. Ponce later put up an update saying that they were also given USD 500 vouchers for future travel. However, Twitterati continued to troll Frontier Airlines for their approach to the incident.

Here is how Twitterati reacted:

To say the least

Frontier Airlines be like

'You trying to trade my life for a free breakfast' look

Let's queue for free breakfast

Ah owh!

The journalist later tweeted saying that his aunt used the "breakfast voucher to purchase a smoothie and a piece of zucchini bread". We suppose the update came after inundated messages from Twitterati asking about what his aunt ate for breakfast. He also tweeted saying, "UPDATE: my aunt says @FlyFrontier reimbursed her for the flight and added a $500 voucher for future travel."
