In a tear-jerking incident, a 14-year-old Indonesian teenager found out about her mother's death while on live TV. Jannah had cleared to the next round of the singing reality show and called her mother to inform, when she was told that her ailing mother had passed away. The young girl had come on the Indonesian programme Liga Dangdut hoping to win cash prize £28,000 for her mother's treatment. But her joy did not last long as her uncle picked up the phone and told her that her mother had passed away. Reportedly, her uncle said, "Jannah, your mother said to be strong as you will need to take care of your family now,” her uncle can be heard saying. We love her as a family member, but unfortunately, Allah loved her more and he has called for her. Your mother has passed away." In the video, Jannah could be seen crying on the live stage. She begins to sob soon and the judges reach out to her. Video of the incident was shared on Twitter by singer Azim Kamaruzzaman and has been viewed more than 2.5 lakh times. Following which she posted a selfie on Instagram with the caption, "Keep on smiling, hopefully, you will smile in heaven too."

Tweeting the video, he wrote, "He wrote: 'Only 14 years old and already through to the next round of Liga Dangdut Indonesia 2020.
