According to Surapura's family, the accident took place while he was participating in the zipline activity at the Sterling River Resort. The family alleged that the resort lacked adequate safety measures, which directly led to the cable snapping. Furthermore, they claimed that while the resort management initially promised to cover the complete cost of Surapura's medical expenses, they have since failed to honor that commitment.
