Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan is set to receive a career achievement award at the Locarno Film Festival. The ceremony will take place on August 10 at the festival's iconic Piazza Grande. Khan will reportedly also participate in a public discussion the following day. The award will pay tribute to King Khan's career in Indian cinema, spanning more than 100 films across multiple genres. To celebrate his honour, the festival will screen Khan's 2002 iconic film Devdas. Francesco Rosi, Bruno Ganz, Claudia Cardinale, to name a few, are previous winners of Locarno’s Pardo alla Carriera.
