Ahead of Independence Day 2024, Suspected ISIS Operative Rizwan Ali Arrested in Delhi
The Delhi Special Police Cell arrested suspected ISIS terrorist Rizwan Ali ahead of the Independence Day 2024 in Delhi on August 9.
Allegedly linked to the Pune ISIS module, Rizwan Ali was caught by the Delhi Police Special Cell, this Friday, August 9, ahead of the Independence Day 2024. After Rizwan escaped the Pune police's custody, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had issued a warrant against him and placed a bounty of INR 3 Lakh on him. The cops allegedly recovered weapons from Rizwan's possession. Rizwan, a resident of Delhi's Daryaganj, was allegedly involved in reconnaissance of high-profile targets in Delhi and Mumbai with members of Pune ISIS module and received money for conducting terror activities around Pune from a foreign-based handler through secret communication apps.
