During the Sirimanotsvam Festival in Kuppili village in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam, tragedy struck when two individuals lost their lives after a priest performing rituals atop a wooden pole known as "Sirimanu" fell on them. The incident, captured on video, shows the unfortunate accident unfolding as the priest loses balance during the ceremony, causing him to plummet onto spectators below. Both victims succumbed to their injuries amid the chaotic scene at the festival grounds. Reportedly, the priest has also sustained injuries as a result of the fall.
