The gang, posing as RBI officials, overpowered custodians and seized INR 7.11 crore from a CMS cash-refill vehicle on the Dairy Circle flyover, also taking the truck’s DVR and staff phones. Authorities recovered about INR 5.3 crore in Andhra after the robbers ditched a vehicle in Chittoor, and officials believe remaining members fled toward the Chittoor–Tirupati corridor as the manhunt expanded.
