China places 17 million residents of Shenzhen city under COVID-19 lockdown, reports AFP News Agency quoting govt.
Local authorities imposed a COVID-19 lockdown in Shenzhen city on Sunday after it reported 66 new coronavirus cases, reported AFP News Agency quoting government. The city is a residence of around 17 million people. The local authorities had earlier closed non-essential venues and banned restaurant dinings.
