Schools are required to clearly mark and indicate access to basements in their evacuation plans. Additionally, all electrical wiring, fittings, and appliances must be thoroughly checked, with strict adherence to safety norms to prevent any untoward incidents. The guidelines aim to enhance safety and preparedness in schools across the city.
