The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the low-pressure area formed over the Arabian Sea is expected to intensify into a Depression by October 21. "Low pressure area over South East & adjoining South West Arabian Sea persists over the same area on 19th Oct. It is very likely to move nearly West -North westwards and intensify into a Depression on 21st Oct.," Mumbai's Regional Meteorological Center posted on X, formerly Twitter.
