Delhi Minister Gopal Rai today, October 19, spoke about the air quality and pollution in Delhi. Attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Gopal Rai said that all governments of the BJP are sleeping. "The pollution is increasing and the BJP is not ready to do anything. There is a BJP government in UP, Haryana and Rajasthan, they are sleeping and are inactive. There is the BJP in the centre, they are sleeping." The Delhi minister also said that no one is questioning the BJP while their own party leaders are trying to do gimmicks. Rai also said that pollution is a serious problem. "All of us have to work together in cooperation," he added. The statement came after the Air Quality Index (AQI) dropped to 226, categorized as "Poor" as per the Central Pollution Control Board.
