A stray dog in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, went on a terrifying biting spree on August 14, injuring 17 people, including women and children, within just one hour. CCTV footage shows the dog first attacking Ashish Yadav, a 22-year-old student, as he spoke on his phone outside his home. Despite Ashish's attempts to defend himself, the dog bit him severely, leaving him bleeding from the mouth, eyes, and lips. The dog then targeted a woman standing outside her house and two young girls playing nearby. Victims rushed to the district hospital, only to find that the rabies vaccine was unavailable. Despite complaints to the municipal corporation, no action has been taken. Durgesh Mishra, Additional Municipal Commissioner, claimed no knowledge of the incident but emphasised ongoing efforts for sterilisation and vaccination of stray dogs.┬аDog Attack in Telangana: Stray Dog Attacks Child on Face Playing Outside With Friend in Karimnagar, Disturbing CCTV Video Surfaces.
