Yadav questioned the effectiveness of the government's approach, stating, āIf encounters had been improving the law and order of the state, UP would have been way ahead of most states.ā He further expressed concerns about the handling of public events, pointing out, āIf permission had been taken for the procession, why wasn't it carried out peacefully?
