But what caught the attention was the mention of Palestine in his oath. Owaisi concluded his oath with the phrase "Jai Falasteen." Following the oath, Owaisi defended his statement, saying, "Other members are also saying different things. I said 'Jai Bheem, Jai Telangana, Jai Palestine'. How is it wrong? Tell me the provision of the Constitution?" He further referenced Mahatma Gandhi's views on Palestine, emphasising his right to express his support.
