A man from Karnataka, rescued after falling victim to an international human trafficking racket, described his horrifying experience upon reaching Delhi. He said he responded to a fake Telegram job ad promising USD 700-USD 800 a month. After a three-stage interview, traffickers arranged flight tickets, claiming he had secured a job. Instead, he was taken to Thailand and then forced through a dangerous 6–7 hour hilly route into Myanmar’s notorious KK Park. There, he said trafficked victims were tortured, forced to work 17 hours a day, denied access to basic needs, and even faced organ-harvesting threats. Escape required paying USD 4,500, with no guarantee of release. He thanked the Indian government, Indian Air Force, and Indian Army for rescuing them from the brutal operation. Human Trafficking Racket: ED Conducting Raids in Multiple Locations in West Bengal.
