The arrests were made after an extensive investigation that revealed the group's involvement in trafficking kidneys, exploiting vulnerable individuals in desperate need of money. The arrests were made based on the inputs shared by Rajasthan Police and the accused were part of the same module. The accused targeted Bangladeshi patients suffering from kidney ailments by visiting dialysis centres in Bangladesh. “They also arranged for the donors from Bangladesh, taking advantage of their poor financial background and exploiting them on the pretext of providing them jobs in India,” an officer said.
