Education authorities in Mehdauni and Dindori have initiated actions against inebriated teachers and those frequently absent. The tribal office in Dindori sent a letter for disciplinary action, and Assistant Commissioner of the Tribal Department, Santosh Shukla, has suspended nine teachers from Mehdauni. The revelation has caused a stir in the Education Department. Additionally, 19 other teachers, including 15 who came to school intoxicated and four with more than one wife, have been issued show-cause notices.
